Founded in 2000, we spent our early years consulting with companies to address their security concerns. One thing was clear: There was an overwhelming need for a secure, Internet-based communications infrastructure.
We leveraged our intellectual capital and developed a state-of-the-art proprietary online platform for secure electronic communications and information exchange.

While many markets could benefit from our solution, we chose to focus exclusively on the healthcare industry, specifically on administrative Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions in which sensitive information must be protected.
Our timing couldn’t have been better. It coincided with several concerns that are now at the forefront of the market:

Before we entered the market, the process for sending claims, receiving remits, checking eligibility and completing other routine transactions was costly, unreliable and frustrating. Smaller providers had to submit paper claims, while larger ones used unreliable yet expensive dial-up, modems, leased lines or VPNs.
